I think you think me a cynic

That I haven’t found the right man

But I’m not that much of a finick

He’s tall and handsome and tan

He’ll jolly but acquainted with fate

He’s eyes are grey, brown and blue

His hair is curly and straight

He’s skinny and fat and short too!

You can say I’m quite insane

It doesn’t matter to me

For when I met my twinflame

He looked anywhere but at me

So if, to you, I seem selfish

When you talk of fish in the sea

Remember that I HATE shellfish

Fire and Darkness, Joy and Light

We started a flame that could

Set the world on fire

I just wanted the spark

Is that so hard to believe?

Patiently fanning the flame

Only allow the merest light to show

Too big a fire draws attention

Who would want that?

I’d rather share my darkness with you

Then light up the world

Maybe I’m selfish

Why do I have to share you?

I want to possess you

You have already possessed me

The only sharing I want to do

Is the sharing of my life with you

Can we sit and share,

The night together?

Or must I

Extinguish the flame?
