Colors shared back and forth
Send love along the ancient line
Filling hearts with joy and mirth
Beating in Rhythm and Rhyme
Between us now are left no walls
Removed are barriers too
Free to hear beloved calls
The answer always rings true

That celebrated day

When flowers bloom and birds sing

And lovers lead the way

I’ll be ready for you at that time

When all the right words seem to rhyme

So come to me on Beltane Day

As the world resounds with chimes

But if you come on Easter Eve

I won’t ask for you to leave

I won’t be ready for you at that time

But I still could bear for you to leave

If you don’t come for me by fall

I’ll assume you won’t come for me at all

And that would be the biggest blow of all

If you were never to come at all

Straining, reaching, just out of grasp

Looking around but never to touch

The silver shadows stalk my mind

As I lay here, wanting you so much

My mind’s distracted and confused

All my thoughts center on my one true love

I only hope to change my mind

And I will find peace from above

No longer do I seem to care

As the hours while away

Filling time better left alone

With no companions to spend the day

Only stories end happily

Full of love and moon and rhyme

Real life never turns out so well

It simply runs out of rhyme

And all our actions catch up to us

What we live and how we dreamed

Unworthy of paradise

Life was better than what it seemed

Punishment awaits me now

For sins of thought and heart and mind

I should have known to let it go

An earthly heaven I’ve yet to find

On a butterfly’s wings

On seashells

In the intricacies of a snowflake

Can be found

Everywhere

All around us

If we are but observant

What do you see?

This line of poetry

Does not rhyme today

But there is a time

For every purpose

Some time we reap

When the information

Is sewn, secured, stitched, spun

It forms a spiral social web

Everything touches

As long as one remembers

How the puzzle pieces fit

You will do fine
