You've seen the naked truth of me

Haunting my days and nights

When the rain keeps me awake

Your arms encircle my waist

Our souls bears burdens together

When you leave to meet the dawn

My heart gently breaks

The world seems big and scary

I can only withstand the pain

Knowing you will be with be soon

The time slows to a standstill

As I await your presence

To reveal me once again

Fur Baby

Who's that pupper? She is so sweet!

She wags her tail and chews her feet

She sleeps so soundly, snoring loud

She is the best, standing out of the crowd,

Her barks are sharp, warning of danger,

Even though she is trained, no one can tame her

I wonder what she dreams of nightly,

For when she wakes her eyes shine so brightly!

She is my fur baby, I love her so,

I will hug her close and never let go!

Alone in Plain Sight

 

Standing alone in plain sight
Keeping our intentions clear 
Shouldering on into the fight
Masking our peace and fear

Trying to keep intentions clear
We march forth into the fray
Suppressing our peace and our fear
We sit alone at the end of the day

We march forward into the fray
Never begining to doubt
Are we alone at the end of the day?
Time to make a whisper a shout

My love, don't ever doubt
We shoulder into the fight
Making our whisper into a shout

 The mere thought of you calms me,

Fills my body and soul with peace,
I reach through the emptiness and there you are.
Touching me with invisible hands,
Reading my feelings, my thoughts, my mind
We exchange energy,
Enjoying the warmth and heat we share.
The binds that tie us,
Cannot be broken,
Cannot be crushed or riven.
They stand in judgement of all around.
Showing love greater then imaginable.

Thine is the kingdom

This is your kingdom
Conquer your territory
Learn its peaks, its valleys, its plains,
Bow and worship its Temple
Offer a sacrifice
Allow the floods to return
As you learn the ways of your kingdom
You ride it in a steady pace
Until you sight home
Then the true race begins
Heart pounding
A stitch in your side can't even stop you
Bearing down to push
Harder and faster
Quicker and more rapidly
As wild as the sea
Until you arrive
Where your kingdom is awaiting

Bliss

 
When this is all over
Take me far away
To the Seychelles
To see the seashells
To dip our toes
In the white hot sands
Where the blue green 
Seas grow
No more fear
When the sun dips below
The water falling gracefully
Into eternity
Into the abyss
Just you and me
Under a banyon tree
Blissfully, unaware
Of the world around us
In need of a little rest
Growing our family
Day by Day
Where worries disappear

The Rules of Love

 Pain must come 'fore true love first enchaneth
When air is full of measured breath
And vows are made that suit the world not you
Call me when the first blush fades into the night
I'll see you in the naked dawn once more
For hollowed ground and sacred sites
In old age lose their illustrious lure
So call for most hastily my dear
We'll leave the future visions to the rest
Tomorrow comes with doubt and pain and fear
But today we'll have love that's heaven blest
And work the trouble out in the end
First and foremost be my friend

Else all be lost for love is not love true

If you were here right now,
I'd promise you the moon,
I'd stay with you till sunrise,
I'd beg of you each sunset,
I'd crawl into the circle of your arms,
I'd kneel before you and worship at your feet.

Must I entreat you to come home so I can begin?

Little Things

The enveloping dark is thick as tar
Not even a light left for me
Was it better then me by so far
That you left me, enchained in your world?
The promise left said, but undone
Hope and Future laid bare
Always thought I'd be the one running
We make such a wonderful pair
Stuck in this hastily made gloom
Mired in pity and woe
As uncertainty looms overhead
Finding neither friend nor foe
But little things become the world
Little by little they become everything.
