Two eyes glancing

Bad romancing

Nearly dancing

They follow and remember you.

Sparks are forming

Without warning

Love outpouring

Hiding us from a stranger's view

In the daylight,

In plain sight.

In the night,

We hide, it's true.

Before the ending

True Darkness descending

My soul is wending

It's a lonely way bending

To try and remember you

A patient pause gives way
Two hearts fluttering in time

Their peace slowly dying
A beautifully staged play
But now the page turns
No longer bound as one
The world crashes and burns
All things are ending now
As everything eventually must
Time has come to concede
