Not arguing today

Words get in the way

Sorry falls on deaf ears

And the world is waiting

For the clamour of the voices

You've seen the naked truth of me

Haunting my days and nights

When the rain keeps me awake

Your arms encircle my waist

Our souls bears burdens together

When you leave to meet the dawn

My heart gently breaks

The world seems big and scary

I can only withstand the pain

Knowing you will be with be soon

The time slows to a standstill

As I await your presence

To reveal me once again

Close your eyes, lay down your head
Still your soul and slow the heart beating, throbbing inside your chest Lounging across my inviting bed
I give you leave to completely spread
Your essence, body, burden, and godhead,
Here, now, when will you be able to rest?
What dreams will come?

It tastes bitter and sweet,
Hot and sour all at once
I plunge into the depths of your soul

You rescue me from dying in your eyes
Only to die later
