Wild Winds

Wild is the wind that whips the shore

And Beats the beach and sand

Rolling the riptide rises

The seas ever steady lure

It calls us to leave the land

Forces us to make compromises

Then returns us nary a favor

No matter how we command

We always know where the truth lies

Although the ocean is ours to savor
