We all inevitably fall.
What matters is how high we crawl,
The time we take to do it in.
Can we, mankind, pay off our sin?
Or are we bound to fall for years?
Pull up by your bootstraps my dears,
Chin up off your knees, feel cheer!
There is more than one way to win.
Perhaps we just prepare to fall.

Midnight Sonnet
Your breath is the desert breeze
Hot and warm and swift
It puts my weary soul at ease
And my mind begins to drift
It wanders back to olden days
When time was young and free
The simple games we used to play
When love was you and me
The world may break outside our door
We've braced for any storm
I could not ask for any more
Tucked into your arms so warm
So let the coming war begin
Together we can't help but win

#untitled poem
Closing in,
almost a win
Tomorrow
seems so far away
A long
night, a bitter fight
Keeping
creeping nightmares at bay
The sun
appears and as the end nears
The fear
is gone and dying
Time is
telling, Joy is welling
There can
be no denying

Accept
There’s a whore in all of us
There’s a sin in him
We are all made up of lust
But we rarely go out on a limb
We take care to guard the exits
We dance to protocol’s whim
Sometimes someone comes along
That says to hell with prim
It’s not even good to be proper
‘Cause those people never win
You have to fight dirty to prosper
We lived in world rotting in sin
We have to stop rejecting our nature
Learn to accept where we’ve been
Accepting ourselves for who we are
Is the greatest way we can win

A Very Giffy Poem
I tried to hate you. I really want to. But I cant.I can’t lose you. I won’t survive and that’s your fault, I know that. You made me love you, you made me let you in.I feel like I should stop think about it, you know but I can’t.We don’t always lose, but when we do, we win.
That last gif is not quite what I wanted but it's last at night and I will revisit this again. Someone had remarked on our language being replaced with emoji's and gifs. This would be a language similar to egyptian heiroglyphics. I thought I would experiment with what a poem would look like in those terms. I'll give it another wack later.
