Lies

To think this on the lies we tell
To prove to the world all is well
I'm fine, It's mine,Your hair looks divine
You'd think it some bloody magical spell

One tries to be much more then cleaver
When putting words all together
We try to be good and do all we should
Sometimes there are storms we must weather

No lies, the Bible doth say
Keep the way of the Lord a'lway
Sometimes it is needed
Rules not to be heeded
The punishment later to pay

Change

I saw you today
Walking across the square
And when you looked at me
Your eyes weren't really there
I started to walk toward you
I started to go and stopped
You saw me and you turned around
My heart found fear and dropped
The weather had been bright
Sun shining, clear, serene
Out of nowhere clouds began to roll
Painting a dismal scene
Now I turn, I run from you
My panic, fear and pain
Have caught me deep with in my soul
As teardrops turn rain
